On behalf of Broncos and Panthers fans across the nation, we sincerely apologize for hogging the Super Bowl. It must be torture for the rest of you to have to watch a Super Bowl that doesn’t involve a big-market team like the Pats, the Giants, Cowboys, etc.
Just kidding. Fuck all y’all. :)

There’s a game today?
Seriously, though. What’s the over/under on the ratings drop from last year to this year?

It’ll be hanging out with the New England Patriots steamroller that was supposed to show up a couple weeks ago. And the Steelers steamroller the week before that.

Bruh, you have the hottest new QBs and one of the Manning bros in a Superb Owl. Not exactly an ‘underdog, small-market’ story.

I know, I just enjoy the whining I hear coming out of the northeast, mostly. I know Panthers fans do, too.

Bears fan here. I’m just glad to see a Super Bowl with some different teams in it. I could not care less who wins, but I’m going to enjoy watching it.

I just want it all to be over. The local news websites are killing me today. House burned down nearby? Who cares, GO BRONCOS. Some dude flipped his truck on the interstate? THESE ARE THE TOP TEN SUPERBOWL RECIPES IN DENVER!

No, like the Panthers did two weeks ago. The Patriots sucked this year. Couldn’t even beat a team with a cripple at QB...

As a Pats fan I’m looking forward to it. This broncos defense is the best I’ve seen in my time watching the sport and the Panthers are probably the most fun team I’ve seen. I’m just hoping the pundits are wrong and its a close game.

Hey, as long as Manning wins that's all that matter. Oh, and that the Pats aren't there. That's always a plus.

I hate to break it to you, but we’ve won the Super Bowl with a cripple at QB before. I know, I was there, this happened right in front of my section. I damn near got hit by his walker!

You mean the time a team had a dynamic, record-setting offense, plowed through the regular season and playoffs, then got destroyed by the league’s best defense because they thought all they had to do was show up and they’d win? Yeah, remind me, which team looks more like that this year?

Carolina’s amazing defense combined with a stellar offence lead by the MVP and the coach of the year. Oh and let’s not forget about Peyton’s amazing post season choking ability, second only to every quarterback from Cincinnati. And if that old bag of broken glass goes down you have a backup with the agility of a newborn Bambi.
Should be a good game for Carolina fans.

I still can’t believe they pounded Tom Brady like that. I mean, I know the Pats always struggle in Denver (unless Tebow), but that was unreal.
I don’t doubt the Panthers can win it all (I think they won’t), but I will be genuinely shocked if it isn’t a close game.

Ask the Steelers and the Pats if Manning’s done any choking in the playoffs this year. Oh, and the newborn Bambi you speak of has a 5-2 record (including a win against the defending NFL champions)...
You go right ahead and keep on thinking what you’re thinking though. I hope the Panthers do, too.

It really was surprising, that said our O line was fairly terrible this season, if Brady had a slower release he’d have been killed by now. No team made it look as inept as Denver did though.
It really depends, the Panthers get to fast starts so it’s whether Manning can lead Denver into keeping/ catching up. If they collapse in the second half like they did against Seattle the Broncos could really capitalise.

I have no horse in this race, but I am, at this exact moment, in Denver. And everyone at the airport is wearing their gear.
But really, I'm more impressed by the beer offerings and happy that I had enough of a layover to eat (and drink) at Rood Down.
